Priming compound for preparing walls and ceilings before plastering is a ready-to-use solution that effectively increases surface adhesion.
Developed on the basis of polymer resins and quartz flours, it perfectly prepares the substrate, ensuring strong adhesion to it and to the applied plasters. It contains aggregate, creating a rough surface, which facilitates the application of subsequent layers of plaster, while increasing their durability. It effectively reduces the absorbency of the substrate, which contributes to the even distribution of the material and improves the overall quality of the application. The use of this priming compound is a sure step towards achieving a durable and aesthetically pleasing plastering effect.
Can be used on substrates such as: cement-lime plaster, cement plaster, concrete substrates, unplastered walls made of ceramic hollow blocks, silicate blocks, bricks, cellular concrete, gypsum plasters, putties and filler, polymer-based putties and filler, plasterboard and OSB.
Contains aggregate (forms rough surface)
Reduces absorptiveness and strengthens substrates
Improves bonding (strongly adheres to substrates and plasters applied)
Step by step instruction
The substrate shoud be:
- stable, sufficiently load-bearing, seasoned to air-dry condition,
- clean, i.e. dust-free and cleaned from old paint coats and from other layers that may weaken paint adhesion, especially dust, dirt, wax and grease,
- even, without cracks, defects repair before painting,
Adhesive primer is ready to use. It should be mixed thoroughly before use.
Apply tack primer undiluted to the substrate once with a roller or brush as a thin and even layer.
Plastering, gluing tiles, etc., should be started after drying, i.e. after 4-6 hours.
